Dmitry Petrov from Nokia will speak about “5G Network Automation and ML” at NSYP19. Dr. Dmitry Petrov is senior researcher at Nokia Bell Labs, Finland. He graduated from the physical faculty of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow state university in 2007 and received Ph.D. degree in mathematical modeling from the same university in 2010.

Dmitry received another Ph.D. degree in mathematical information technology (2012) and a title of adjunct professor in wireless networking technologies (2016) from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. During his career Dmitry participated in numerous academic and industrial projects. In 2017, he started his work at Nokia.

The main areas of scientific interests for Dmitry are modeling and simulation of mobile networks, network automation and ML, and innovation in technology. He is also acting as a vice-chair of IEEE section of Finland and is a senior IEEE member.
