Region 8 Vice-Chair and R8 Student Activities Committee, SAC, Chair Maciej Borówka will be talking at NSYP19. We are incredibly lucky to have the region 8 SAC chair willing to donate his time to this event and are very excited for the talk.

The talk given by Maciej and another member of SAC. The topic will be based around how we can attract new members to join IEEE student branches, and how to keep them active and interested in the branch.

We would also like to take this opportunity to thank SAC for all the help and commitment they provided to help turn this SYP from a concept into a reality.

There have been a lot of challenges in the planning this SYP: first time on a boat, two countries from different time zones planning and organizing together, trying to keep the costs as low as possible in two quite high costing countries; and we could not have done it without the help, support and advice that SAC gave willingly.
